British band Coldplay celebrated its No. 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard "Hot 100 Hot 100.
Coldplay left on its official Instagram on the 5th, "RM, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook congratulations."
BTS and Coldplay topped the Billboard main chart Hot 100 on the 4th (local time) with their collaboration song My Universe.
Coldplay said, "I'm grateful to Coldplayers (coldplay fans) and ARMY (BTS fans), adding, "It's all achieved together."
Coldplay topped the "Hot 100" for the first time in 13 years since "Viva Vida" in June 2008.
For BTS, it is the sixth "Hot 100" number one song. Following the remixes of "Dynamite," "Butter," "Permission to Dance," "Life Goes On" and "Savage Love," it reached the top again this time.
It is also the first time in Billboard history that a song collaborated between the two groups has reached the top of the "Hot 100."
"My Universe" is a song in which BTS and Coldplay work together. The two groups wrote and composed together. It consists of English and Korean lyrics.
The song is scheduled to appear on Coldplay's ninth album "Music Of The Spheres" on the 15th.
Meanwhile, BTS will hold a concert in the United States from November to December. A total of four performances will be held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
