BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge said on its website on the 22nd (local time) that BTS, the 21st century pop icon, will appear in the live lounge for the first time on the 27th.

BTS has a digital single "Dynamite" released in August last year at the Live Lounge, a new song "Permission to Dance" released recently, and "Every Breath You Take" by The Police.

BTS interviews hosts as well as performances.

"Live Lounge" is a famous radio show loved by music fans around the world. Global artists will appear to perform and cover performances. Other cast members include Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift.

Adele Roberts, host of "Live Lounge," heralded BTS's appearance, saying, "In recent years, BTS has broken many records, barriers and boundaries. I'm very excited to finally invite the world's best group.

"Live Lounge," starring BTS, will be released on Radio 1's "Live Lounge" program and YouTube channel on the 27th. It will also be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on the 28th.
