Presidential secretary for protocol Tak Hyun-min once again spoke about the controversy over "BTS Passion Pay."
Tak Hyun-min, presidential secretary for protocol, dismissed the controversy on Facebook on the 14th, saying, "I don't know if I have to explain this, but you keep raising questions, so I'll check and let you know."
Secretary Tak said, "I think we may not know about administrative processing if we don't have experience in government budget and execution, so I'm telling you kindly if possible," adding, "The payment decision is currently completed."
He then said, "We already completed the related contract before the start of the BTS event and the payment decision was already completed after the end of the event," and stressed, "We inform you that the report was submitted on October 13 and that it will be deposited three days later only if Hive requests for deposit."
He also said, "Even if the payment decision is completed in the process, the place to receive the money needs to request a deposit," and added, "I hope you don't misunderstand the minor procedures and expressions as if you lied."
Meanwhile, during the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, Park Jung-ryul, director of the Overseas Culture and Public Relations Agency, said, "It is BTS."
Asked by Rep. Kim Seung-soo if the cost was paid for the UN schedule, controversy arose over "BTS 700 million unpaid" by answering, "Not yet." Rep. Kim also criticized, "It is very shocking that the first-degree secretary of the Blue House lied to the entire people on the air."
