Hosting the International Rotary Conference...BTS Jimin won the appreciation plaque.
International Rotary, a non-profit international volunteer organization, held the 2021 International Rotary Chairman Conference for three days and two nights from the 5th to the 6th. The place is Gyeongju The K Hotel.
At a conference held on the 5th under the theme of environmental and disease prevention and treatment, International Rotary Chairman Shaker Meta urged Rotary members to participate more actively in medical service.
At the conference, Choi Jae-cheon, a chair professor at Ewha Womans University, former Environmental Minister Kim Myung-ja, head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at Severance Hospital, and Jeon Byung-sung, a secretary for Environment at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
At the event held on the morning of the 6th, BTS (BTS) Jimin was awarded a plaque of appreciation. Jimin donated 100 million won to the International Rotary polio eradication fund in July this year.
International Rotary has 1.2 million members from 36,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries around the world. Rotary is trying to fight polio. The number of polio infections, which reached 350,000 a year in the 1980s, has now decreased by 99.9%.
