BTS 'PDT', Japan's No. 1 oricon...butter' and baton touch
Group BTS (BTS) swept Japan's Oricon weekly streaming rankings.
According to the latest chart released by Oricon on July 26th (July 12th to 18th), BTS's "Permission to Dance" topped the "Weekly Streaming Ranking" list with 21.43 million 94 weekly plays.
It is a baton with "Butter," a global summer song that has topped the chart for eight consecutive weeks.
Following the digital single "Dynamite" released in August last year, the original Japanese song "Film Out" and "Butter" released in April last year, BTS has topped the list of "Weekly Streaming Rankings" for the fourth time.
"Butter" ranked second in the weekly streaming rankings with 1,4846,308.
"Butter," which was released on May 21, has continued its super strength of more than 10 million weekly playback for nine consecutive weeks since May 31, the first entry into the chart.
In response, "Dynamite" rose three notches from the previous week to 7,145,285 weekly playback, ranking third in the "Weekly Streaming Rankings," and BTS swept the first to third place in the "Weekly Streaming Rankings."
Also, 'Permission to Dance' ranked second in Oricon's streaming weekly rankings. The No. 1 ranking was "Butter," which recorded the highest weekly number of Oricon streaming rankings (31.13 million times / June 7th), while BTS also topped the Oricon's "Weekly Rankings of All-time" list.
Meanwhile, BTS topped the U.S. Billboard's latest chart, "Hot 100," with "Permission to Dance." He succeeded in touching "Butter" and Baton, which had been at the top for seven consecutive weeks.
